BIOGRAPHY
Keno Magano is the Outreach Manager at ATHX Performance, where he brings a wealth of experience in coaching and a deep passion for athlete development. A Vancouver, BC native, Keno’s journey in baseball and coaching has been marked by his commitment to excellence and his ability to cultivate talent at all levels.
Keno played at the University of the Fraser Valley and coached with the North Shore Twins in the BC Premier Baseball League (BCPBL). In 2017, he played a pivotal role in leading the Twins to an unprecedented "Triple Crown" victory, where all three teams—Bantam, Junior, and Senior—claimed their respective provincial championships. His success continued in 2018, when he led the Bantam Twins to a second consecutive BC Provincial Championship and a third-place finish at Nationals, marking his first year as a head coach.
Keno’s coaching expertise extends beyond the BCPBL. He coached the Zone 5 team at the BC Summer Games in 2016 and 2018, earning gold medals at both events. In the summer of 2023, he coached Team BC 16u girls at Nationals in Prince Edward Island. Keno also served as an assistant softball coach at Simon Fraser University, Canada’s only NCAA institution, where he helped lead the team to a top conference ranking in hitting and a conference-leading offensive performance in 2022.
In his current role at ATHX Performance, Keno oversees outreach initiatives, building relationships with athletes and communities, while staying closely connected to the baseball program. His expertise in athlete development and his passion for sport continue to inspire and influence those he works with, making him a great asset to the ATHX team.
