Mark Ossanna plays a pivotal role on the ATHX Redhawks Academy coaching staff as our Programming Director, Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Hitting Coordinator. Mark will be a full-time Academy coach, bringing his expertise in hitting, catching, and strength training to our athletes. In addition to his coaching role, he will also be offering private lessons at the facility, providing personalized instruction to help players reach their full potential.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Mark played college baseball at Phoenix College (NJCAA Division 2) and Minot State University (NCAA Division 2). In 2023, Mark had a standout season for the Beavers, hitting .337 (56-for-166) with 7 doubles, 14 home runs, 44 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases. He also posted an impressive .988 fielding percentage during his career at MSU, demonstrating his consistency and skill on both sides of the game.
Mark also played for the Edmonton Riverhawks, and we are proud to welcome him back “home.” His diverse playing experience and passion for development makes him a huge addition to the ATHX Redhawks Academy. We are thrilled to have him on board as he works to enhance our athletes' performance both on the field and in the weight room.
