Treyl has competed at high levels in baseball, volleyball, and hockey, and has spent time as a coach for each sport. He played baseball for 12 years, primarily as a back catcher at both the AA and AAA level in Saskatchewan and has 3 years of experience coaching a range of ages and levels in the sport. He also played AA hockey until leaving the sport to focus on Volleyball, which found him playing 3 years at the University of Alberta Augustana. His additional coaching experience includes novice hockey, time with the Volleyball Canada National Excellence Program and coaching at numerous volleyball camps. Treyl is also a Kinesologist with an extensive background in athlete strength and conditioning.
