ATHX 13U/15U/18U BASEBALL

WHERE DEDICATED YOUTH PLAYERS TRAIN TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS

"My son is in their baseball program and it is the best program we have ever been in. He loves the program, is always ready to go (he’s 13) to the 4 sessions a week. He is playing less video games, eating better, getting 9-10 hrs sleep, and his marks have improved immensely! Derek, Coach Nolan and team are not only helping him grow as an athlete but as a well rounded human!"

13U BASEBALL DEVELOPMENT

BIRTH YEAR: 2010 - 2011

Our 13U (Birth Year 10-11) Baseball Development program is built on the same principles and structure as our high-performance 15U/18U program, but with a modified schedule and no requirement for tournament travel.

The program offers two 10-week training blocks focusing on fundamental baseball skill training and athletic development, and includes introductory nutrition education and goal setting.

Athletes can register for one or both blocks.

**If there is interest, we may look at travelling to a fall tournament in Kamloops or similar location.

15U/13U BASEBALL DEVELOPMENT

BIRTH YEAR: 2007 - 2010

We are offering a hybrid program to our 15/13U athletes who were unable to commit to the full Academy Program.

The Development program is built on the same structure as our high-performance 15U/18U program, but with a more flexible schedule.

The program runs for 24 weeks.  Each 2-hour session combines baseball skill coaching with athletic training that focuses on building overall athletic movement, agility, speed and conditioning. Athletes can choose between a 1 day per week or 2 day per week program.

AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO THE "TRADITIONAL" MODEL

The way we play the game has changed - the way we train should too. ATHX Baseball Academy's innovative approach makes sure athletes stay at the top of their game while they prepare for the next steps in their career.

THE ATHX ACADEMY MODEL

The ATHX program combines 20 years of sport development experience and elite coaching with state-of-the-art technology and innovative training to help our players succeed both on and off the field.

Our Academy Model is built to develop the five tools of baseball that great players possess and professional scouts look for:

SPEED

Players with good speed can leg out extra base hits, steal bases, and track down fly balls in the outfield.

ARM STRENGTH

Pitchers with strong arms can deliver the ball with velocity and movement, while infielders can make plays from deep in the hole.

FIELDING

Good fielders have good range, soft hands, and a quick first step.

HITTING FOR AVERAGE

Hitters who can consistently put the ball in play and reach base is an asset to any team.

HITTING FOR POWER

Hitters with good power can drive the ball into the gaps and over the fence for extra-base hits.
